Wow I'm horrible at this!

Sorry everyone that it has been so long. Things have been quite crazy the past few months, I'll give you a quick run down and then attempt to be better at this!
First, I got a promotion, so we moved back to Ogden. So far things are wonderful, I'm not sure Jason like's commuting every night, but he put's up with it for me. Jason also graduated from school last week! YAY for finally being done, now to find a job! I'm sure he'll find one soon!
Ike turned one a couple of weeks ago. It amazes me how fast the kids grow up. I wish my babies could be babies longer! He also took five steps the other day, but I don't mind if he takes his time on the walking thing. I like my babies and will miss it when he becomes and actual toddler :(
He also started going to daycare with Hailey this last month. So far he is doing alright, but he LOVES his mom and dad and doesn't want to be apart from us.
Hailey turned three in February! I can't believe she is already three, I feel to young to have her be three. She also LOVES her new daycare down here. She cried this morning that we made her stay home because she had pink eye!
I think that is all, and I promise I will try to do better at this!

Strep, Crawling, and School

This week has sure been a busy one! Hailey came down with strep, which is no good. I think I've had it a minimum of 8 times a year since I was like 5! I hadn't had it in 6 years until she got it! It's no fun! Especially since she had to have a penicillin shot! She wiggled out of it half way through and now has a big scrape on her bum.
Ike has now been crawling all over the place. He is so active now, I'm just loving watching him move around. Hailey is still trying to bring things to him, so he doesn't have to move, so we are teaching her that she has to let him get things on his own.
Tomorrow I officially start school! YAY!!! I wish I could start right now, I'm all pumped up and Hailey is spending the night with Grandma Jayne and Grandpa Hal.

Weekend Adventures

This weekend was very fun and very busy! Yesterday we were pretty laid back and hung out at home. However we did make on trip out to Sam's Club. The kids had a lot of fun riding in the cart next to each other.

Today was a little bit busier. First thing we were off to church. It felt good to get back, but I'm not so sure about our ward. It is a married student ward and there were a lot of babies, but not many kids Hailey's age. Which may mean no nursry. Not that it should matter very much, but it will be a little trying with Ike and Hailey with us for all of our classes. Oh well! I guess we will figure it out as time goes on. Also today Hailey and I made a trip to the Instacare! It appears she has an external ear infection and we are going to have to put drops in her ears! This will be fun!!!

Ike has his first top tooth finally coming in. It has been making its way down for about a week and it's finally about to push through! Yippee for teeth!

Now Hailey and I are off to make some dinner for the family, she is such a good helper!

9 Months Old and Crawling!!!!

Ike had his 9 month check up today! We were quite surprised to find that at 18 lbs 9 oz at 9 months old is only the 25th percentile for boys. He seems so big to me, but maybe that is because Hailey was so small. As for his height he is 29 inches long which is the 75th percentile. So he is tall and skinny! Just like daddy.
Also he started army crawling about a week ago, but finally got it down today and he's pretty quick!!! I have a video I'll put on here! I hope it works, since I've never put a video on here before!

Hailey today has also been very cute. However she did take all the toys out of the bins I have under her bed. Which is A LOT of toys! These are the ones that I swap out every month or two, but how they are all mixed up and a mess. Luckily she's too cute to stay mad for long! She's been loving holding out toys and trying to get Ike to come to her.

A Sleepless Long Weekend

Jason and I were quite delighted at the thought of a long weekend; however we much prefer long weekends that don't involve sick children, being up all night, and being up early. Hailey was sick this weekend. She had a fever, however when she is sick luckily she sleeps and just kinda lays around all day. On the other hand, Ike is teething and likes to stay up all night and then all the next day. So as much as Jason and I were looking forward to it, it was not at all what we had planned for.
Luckily Hailey is feeling better!!! and Ike is sleeping right now. Which is probably what I should be doing, but with both kid not feeling well all weekend, I didn't finish all of my chores. So I am doing laudry and dishes.

It's been a while....

I know I haven't posted in a while, but I'm going to try to catch up and get back on track. Christmas were wonderful at our house. Thank you to everyone for the wonderful presents. On New Years Eve we hung out at our friends Danny and Julie's house. Hailey had a blast playing with all of the kids. And Ike seemed to enjoy watching the other babies and what they could do.
Since then we have been busy as ever, Jason is back in school. It's officially his last semester!!!! We are all so excited for him to be done.
I am just working like crazy, however looking forward to having Monday off! It will be nice to have a little break.
Hailey is getting very excited for her birthday! She is planning her party and has chosen Elmo as the theme. She will also be starting her 3 year old gymnastics class on Monday and will be moving up to the 3 year old class at daycare the day after her birthday.
Ike is getting bigger and closer to crawling every day. He tries so hard, I hate watching him struggle, but it will be worth it once he can get to things more easily. Right now he turns in circles moving in the direction of whatever he is after, it takes a little longer than crawling, but he gets there.
Well I better be back to work, and I will do my best to not fall behind again.
